From double denim to casual spring and denim, here’s three outfit ideas that’ll work for work to weekend with one top: the denim button down. I’m proving you can wear a denim button down with anything!

Look #1: Denim on Denim
The ultimate casual cool outfit. Denim can easily look very western, very easily, but here are a few tips on wearing your denim on denim:
- Wear different washes (light wash/dark wash)
- Distressed denim (but not distressed enough that your jeans just look like shorts)
- Color accessories (try a flesh colored belt/shoes, bright lip or earring)

Look #2: Casual Friday’s
Most places of work in the South offers some wardrobe incentive during the spring/summer months, well at least in Savannah. Who wants to be in hot career clothes all day? That corporate summer wardrobe policy may allow jeans, but definitely not distressed and in some cases, only dark washes.

Remain cool and professional with a denim top and lightweight bottoms, like these paperbag pants. This is casual for work, but not too relaxed.
Wear some comfortable flats, or a heel if you’ve got a meeting to run too. Notice, the print on the shoe and the pants; the light wash denim allows pulls the blue in the heels together.

Look #3: Perfect Spring Chic Look

Wearing a denim shirt with a spring skirt is the perfect for lots of occasions; church, brunch date, cute date in the park or casual work day.

Try mixing prints and adding lots of spring colors for a pretty floral and feminine look.
