Fall/ Winter 2019-2020 Beauty Trends: Bright Lips

Makeup is a huge part of personal style, has been for millennia. Seasons tend to have tonal and specific colors, but as fashion trends have been bold despite the season, so has makeup trends. Here are some #liptrends in fashion and all affordable.

Wine Lips

Cabernet or Zinfandel… wine colors are deep red and flatter everyone. Perfect shade for fall, vampy makeup or something unconventional for the holidays. Pair your deep dark red with neutral makeup (eyes and cheeks) for a classy look or sparkle for the New Year festivities.

Red Lips

If you are trying a red for the first time, ease your way into it with a red that has a skin equivalent undertone. For me, that’s golden yellow, so maybe an orange red. I don’t flat out like orange as a color, but I like it blended with red (looks like it’s pulling total grapefruit, but you can see the true color in my IGTV video here).

Berry Lips

Enjoy reds and wines? You’ll like the blend because they make berries. So many wine cliches 😅. Here are a couple berries that are more on the lighter side and not as concentrated with purple and blue hues.
