Self Care and Personal Development: The Best Podcasts and Books to Listen To NOW

I don’t know about you, but i’m kind of over binging on television series and movies. Not because I don’t have the time, but if anything, those programs aren’t going anywhere and I’d rather use my free time focusing on building and bettering myself for now and after the Pandemic is over. . . or period.

We’ve been seeing the memes and posts about taking it easy on yourself during the time the world has seemingly . . . halted, BUT, just because we’ve PAUSED, nothing hasn’t stopped.

I’m sure business will not go as usual after this. Leaders and creatives are birthed and pushed at times like these, even more so than before; people are tapping into their gifts and learning new things daily. YES, self care and taking moments to pause and be present IS important, but stagnation and laziness can take over quick! Trust me, I know.

As an entrepreneur for the last 4 years, I know it’s sooooo easy not to have a routine, be thrown out of sync, lack motivation . . . the overall feel-goodness of not being shackled, BUT snap out of it!

Sis definitely one for the occasional shenanigans, but I’ve curated a list of podcasts and books from my collection and some dope friends’ (entrepreneurs, accountants, lawyers and doctors – yes, my friends are dope) to feed your mind and spirit during these uncertain times to keep you motivated and empowered – for now and later.
