4 AMAZING Ways to Style Your Florals NOW + Style Tips!

A few things I love: 2 pieces (especially the old buck boxes), florals and mixing prints! Although we’re halfway through Spring, you don’t have to be limited to wearing florals in the warm months. Check out these few ways I styled and mixed up my coordinated floral sets and different ways to style your florals.

Y’all know I love florals and mixing prints. Check out these tips on styling your florals or prints!

Color

Pull together with a POP of color. You can use a ribbon on a hat or mustard heels . . . perfect for a pop of color. Or a soft/bright blouse, like below.

To mix prints successfully, you need a color family or primary color. Both of the prints need to have a single color that brings the outfit together, cohesively.

You can see in the video, all of the looks have similar color or shade to pull the look together.

Don’t be afraid to mix your work wear and casual/dress down items together for a fun street style look.

SCALE!

This is very important. The size and scale of the pattern or print will coordinate better together and will also not have people squinting at you because every aspect of your outfit is a micro-scale.

Prints

Doesn’t matter – Same Print, different colors OR Multiple Prints. You can do CONTRASTING prints, like I did here – that both have shades of black or use the same print with a contrast (darker) color. You can mix prints with stripes, plaid, florals, dots, abstract – there are so many choices!
