Autumn will be transitioning into winter in less than one month! I can’t believe it. Not to mention the acceleration of time and 2017 is 90% over! There’s the occasional 70 degree day in Savannah, but i’m sure it’ll be cooling off a lot as the holidays approach.
Transitioning to winter from fall is probably the easiest transitions for fashion. The colors are similar, comfortability and warmth. Berries and earth tones are great for winter. This year, oversized, heavy knits and dots are very trendy.
Victorian and Gothic style can turn cartoonish, very quick. If you aren’t willing to step out in full Vistorian, but love the era and influence: extreme lace detailing, feminine cuts, silks/sheer blouses, or leather boots, check out this modern look I put together.
On “last weeks”, I’ll (try my best at 6:00 am) capture some of my best and favorite looks of the week that I wore to work, appointments or whatever I have going on.
I definitely don’t have an elite budget or lifestyle, especially one that affords the luxury of a Country or Golf Club membership. However, I do have the budget to affordably look the part…with a punch of color and prints. And some kinky hair 🙂
It’s not Tommy, Ralph or Lilly, yet I assure you, it did’t cost anything close to those MSRP’s. Check out how I put my twist on Country Club//Ivy League prep below with soft colors and stripes. This can DEFINITELY be worn to many events or occasions, even perfect for office wear!
Over the last week, i’ve had the pleasure of styling a Psychologist, mom and wife. Needless to say, she leads a VERY busy life and had very little time, patience or passion for shopping or styling herself. She enlisted me for my services to personal shop, based on the simple fact that I can do it on a budget while remaining trendy and classic.
