This was the second holiday event styling Keenya. The first look was a festive holiday green dress. So for the ILA Ball, we had to do something completely different, but how? She was already bold and a stand out in the last number. I knew we could not do red for this particular event because everyone (300+ women) would’ve flocked to red. The only choice was to be loud. What better way to do that than dripping in GOLD.
Alia is always super busy planning events in addition to working at her hair salon. Every year she hosts a Christmas Party, but had no time to even think about her look this year; she didn’t even know what she wanted to do. I knew she had to be the best dressed person at her own party, so I selected this fierce, caped gown and accessorized with all gold.
Alia always takes risks with her hair, so I wanted to test the waters in a sexy, yet comfortable dress perfect the evening. I love how the layered necklaces elongated her décolletage area. Check out the details:
As much as I love watching Parks and Recreation and The Office on repeat, I equally love dressing up…like formally. Holiday formals are a great escape from my Office (self inflicted) prison.
The trick to a great gown is knowing what shape flatters your figure. I personally love trumpet and mermaid silhouettes because they enhance my petite figure. Actually, those silhouettes create curves 😏 and I love putting my clients in mermaid, column and sheath silhouettes for enhancing and/or slimming the figure.
With it being the holidays, everyone flocks towards reds, greens and glitter. While great colors, everyone is wearing them. I chose this stunning dark fuchsia gown and paired it with minimal accessories and a matching rose gold/plum make up look and wore shoes already in my collection.
Red on Red has been a fall trend this year and I have to say i’ve been dying to find the perfect shades to wear pair together. What better time to be ultra festive in red than the holidays. I love this look! It’s flirty, sporty, bold, sassy, don’t mess with me, don’t mess with my man and giving me some salsa vibes.
Holiday parties and formals are in full swing now that December is here. I’ve got the perfect look for your corporate holiday gathering or a night out on the town with your girlfriends or beau. Think Bold…Bright…Striking, and it doesn’t have to be expensive. This look was under $75.
I have so much fun pulling women out of their comfort zone. I’m kind of quirky and my personal style ranges from bold business to festival chic. It’s a hard balance not influencing my personal style onto someone else’s, but rather, introducing new thoughts and views of oneself.
Tis the season! Holiday looks are officially here and i’m so excited because red is my favorite color. I actually start holiday decorating a week before Thanksgiving and that includes blasting all the holiday tunes. This holiday, I really want to focus on the traditional colors, red, green, white, but adding textures, prints and sparkles.
You simply can’t go wrong with a black dress and a red lip.
24 karat magic in the air. Head to toe so player. Uh, look out! If only they played Bruno at the party.
