Lace is a huge trend this season and it adds a delicate feminine touch. Teacher of the Year, Kiwonda never wears white, unbeknownst to me, but looks fabulous. Just in time for spring and appropriate for several occasions and event, from weddings to work! The bell sleeves add a fun vibe to look and minimal accessories to complete the look.
Don’t be afraid to add a touch of color with heels…nude or black cold work, but these red Valentino inspired heels from her closet pair well.
Happy New Year! I haven’t posted since before Christmas…lots of family time, rest and thankfulness. Of course, i’ve been busy thrifting :).
I’ve been trying to get into Mad Men…and Joan Harris (Christina Hendricks character) is probably my favorite…I love her style. This look reminds me of portraying…being a high powered woman. Especially in this Giorgio Armani pencil skirt.
It’s chilly outside, so there are a few layers with the leather coat and scarf, all thrifted. This look is perfect for the office, conference, doctors, lawyers…anyone. It’s tailored, chic and gives off expensive vibes.
Skirt, Giorgia Armani $10 (Similar styles retail for $475) | Top, J. Crew $3.75 | Leather Coat, $20
All items, except heels are thrifted/consigned.
Blue Duster, Fall Pastels
Mixing consignment, thrifted and retail for this super chic, slightly modish Autumn look.
I’m not letting go of summer….just going to drag it out forever #coastalgirl
While summer is winding down, you don’t have to only wear slacks and a button down for casual Friday’s. Denim will always be popular in my book. Dresses, jeans, tops…and I’ll add it to any outfit, as you know here. Just a simple denim addition can actually put that extra –umph or modernized your outfit for any age.
