Valentines Day falls on a weekday this year.
I have a record of being single on the day itself, so I’m accustomed to dressing for and taking myself out (even though I do during the year anyways…Spa day is DESPERATELY calling my name).
You can still dress flirty and appropriate for work or class. Check out this super affordable look I achieved mainly shopping on clearance racks.

This year, I took a lot of fashion inspiration from Tracee Ellis Ross. Actually, she is one of my Style idols. Actually, she’s my big sister in my head. We have very similar styles; bold choices, color and mixing and matching,
Autumn will be transitioning into winter in less than one month! I can’t believe it. Not to mention the acceleration of time and 2017 is 90% over! There’s the occasional 70 degree day in Savannah, but i’m sure it’ll be cooling off a lot as the holidays approach.

Tis the season! Holiday looks are officially here and i’m so excited because red is my favorite color. The weather is changing, leaves are getting darker…and (in Rafiki’s voice) it is time for dark and seasonal lips. Berries, wine, oranges, plums. I got ’em all. Granted, you can wear any lipstick color you want any time of the year, but here are some sure fire hits for Autumn AND they are all affordable (less than $10, most $5)…with TWO Mac options. You’ll definitely notice some are dupes of each other!
