I suppose you know Spring is around the corner when the showers pick up frequently…no? We’ll we’ve had our share of intermittent 77 degree days mixed with cold rainy showers. I’m definitely looking forward to my warm weather returning for the remainder of the year…well until October, but until then, i’ll take my sunshine days here and there dressing light and comfortably for the vary temps, with a few layers.
I’ve been loving culottes this season. I have really long legs, so a lot of cropped bottoms through off my proportions, but culottes are typically wide legged and offer movement. These grey pair are perfect for work or a night out. The color, style and cut make it very versatile to pair with many top options.
I paired the culottes with a white crop top with my silk cashmere scarf for some warmth (c’mon, what’s Spring without some skin?). If you wanted, you could definitely edge up your suiting with these top; not for work, but definitely an after event. My blue tassel earrings and floral printed heels add just enough color for my neutral spring look.
